Cancellation & Refund Policy

Version 1.2 · Effective 28 September 2026

Fixora is operated by AMR GLOBAL (CIPC Reg. No. 2026/434852/07). Contact: fixoraapp135@gmail.com.

This policy explains cancellations and refunds for assessments and services booked through Fixora. It should be read with our Terms & Conditions.

1. Requests and confirmations

A request submitted in the app is a request only. An assessment or job is confirmed once Fixora confirms it and you receive confirmation from us. Choosing a preferred date and time does not confirm the appointment.

2. Cancelling a request that is not yet confirmed

You may cancel a request that Fixora has not yet confirmed, at no charge. Contact us at fixoraapp135@gmail.com or use the app.

3. The R250 assessment fee

  • The Fixora assessment fee is R250.
  • The R250 may be paid online through PayFast, once online payments are activated, or, where the option is available, on arrival. The amount is the same either way.
  • The assessment fee is non-refundable, because it covers the cost of arranging and conducting the physical assessment.
  • If Fixora is unable to provide the booked assessment, we may reschedule the assessment or, where appropriate, refund the assessment fee.
  • If an online payment fails or is cancelled, no amount is collected for that attempt and there is nothing to refund. You may try again or, where available, pay on arrival.

4. Rescheduling

If you need to change a confirmed assessment or job, contact us as early as possible and we will try to reschedule you to the next available slot. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

5. Quotes

  • You are under no obligation to accept a quote. Declining a quote costs nothing.
  • The assessment fee remains payable and non-refundable, whether or not you accept the quote.
  • Once a quote is accepted, it becomes the agreed scope and price for that job.

6. Cancelling accepted work

  • Work already completed may be charged.
  • Materials already purchased or reasonably committed may be charged where they cannot reasonably be recovered or reused.
  • Any such charge must be reasonable and relate to actual work and material costs.
  • Customers are not automatically entitled to a full refund simply because they change their mind after work has been completed.
  • We will tell you the amount before charging it.

7. Defective, incomplete or problematic work

If you are not satisfied with work carried out through Fixora, contact us at fixoraapp135@gmail.com as soon as possible and include photos where you can. Fixora investigates. Where appropriate, Fixora may:

  • arrange correction of the work;
  • arrange another professional to correct it;
  • provide a partial refund; or
  • provide a full refund of the affected job or service amount.

Refund decisions remain subject to applicable South African law and non-excludable consumer rights.

8. Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or other South African law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. How refunds are paid

Where a refund is approved, it will be paid using the same method you used to pay, unless we agree otherwise with you. A refund of an online payment is processed back through PayFast to the original payment method, and the time it takes to reflect depends on your bank. Fixora does not receive or store your full card details or banking credentials.
